St. Paul Fire Department Sign Dedication Ceremony

The St. Paul Fire Department honored Austin Smith through a sign dedication ceremony on Sunday October 29th 2023. The St. Paul Fire Department completely redid their St Paul Fire Department sign out front of the Fire Department with a tribute to Firefighter Austin Smith.

The sign (picture below) is the story of Austin’s heroism while serving for the St. Paul fire Department. He was honored by speeches from St. Paul Fire Department Chief Bryan Lee and others who knew him.

Austins wife Ashley Smith was also presented with a plaque from the St. Paul Volunteer Fire Association honoring Austin Smith.

It was a beautiful tribute to commemorate Austin. “Firefighter Austin Smith is gone but not Forgotten”
